Rev. Lester is currently a licensed local pastor in the Desert Southwest Conference and will be commissioned as a provisional elder on June 16, 2023 at the upcoming session of Annual Conference.

Rev. Lester is currently the Senior Pastor of Sanctuary United Methodist Church in Marana, AZ which will merge with St. Mark’s United Methodist Church effective July 1, 2023. After the merger Sanctuary United Methodist Church’s current campus will be relaunched as a second site of St Mark’s United Methodist Church. Rev. Lester will be joining Rev. Lynn Bartlow, Senior Pastor, and Pastor Kim Ogle, Associate Pastor, on the pastoral staff of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
