Sam Grainger, an alumnus of the Desert Southwest Conference Potosi Pines Camp, has been hired as Director of Camp Latgawa, a United Methodist Camp in the Oregon/Idaho Conference. Sam attended Potosi Pines Camp activities throughout his childhood and worked at Potosi while attending high school. As an Eagle Scout project, he designed and built seating for Potosi Pines Outdoor Chapel. Sam is also the grandson of the late Rev. Jerome Blankinship and the son of John and Martha Grainger.
