The South District Administrative Assistant is the support person for the District Superintendent (DS) and the South District, working closely with the other District Assistants and the Annual Conference staff. This person is also the resource person for South District local churches and their administrative assistants. The position is under the direct supervision of the DS. This person will be responsible for a great deal of varied and complex tasks, including but not limited to calendaring, coordinating of work, collaboration with other offices, receptionist duties, hospitality, administrative tasks, finance, communications, database maintenance, and event/meeting planning and support.
This is a 20 hour per week position located at the Desert Southwest Conference, 1550 East Meadowbrook Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85014.
