Apportionments Report through February 28

by | Mar 1, 2017 | Not In USe, Apportionments

Thank you churches! Did you know that when a church is dealing with a crisis they are not alone? Because of apportionments, crisis situations are transformed into strengthening situations. Legal ramifications are discussed, messaging and next steps are developed, and we strengthen the connection of United Methodist Church. God is at work and great things happen thanks to the faithful giving of your congregations.

The February 2017 apportionments report shows that our churches continue to support connectional ministry as a way of giving beyond ourselves and our local churches. Share this news with your congregation. As a Conference, we’re sort of like a family of churches. When one ministry is robust, may we all rejoice! When one ministry struggles, may we all be in prayer.

What does this connectional ministry look like in your local setting? If you have a story you would like to share about how apportionments helped your church, please contact communications@dscumc.org.
