The Rev. N. Susan Brims, Superintendent of the East District, and Rev. Neil Leftwich, Superintendent of the West District, announced that Bishop Robert T. Hoshibata intends to appoint Rev. Brian Kemp-Schlemmer as the pastor of Primera Iglesia Methodista Unida in Phoenix, Arizona effective July 1, 2017. Rev. Kemp-Schlemmer will continue to serving at City Square UMF in Phoenix, Arizona. This will be a two-point charge. Please pray for Rev. Kemp-Schlemmer, Primera IMU, and City Square UMF during this time of transition.

Scott Ritchey to medical leave, effective May 10, 2017 per paragraph 356.2 of the 2016 Book of Discipline. Rev. Ritchey served as senior pastor at Central UMC in Phoenix, Arizona.
