2017 Potosi Pines CampfireBecause of camp….

Potosi is proud of the impact we are having on our campers in our effort to renew lives. At the end of each camp we always ask our campers to finish this quote “Because of camp….”

Below are just a few more camper quotes from some of our summer campers.

Elementary campers:

  • “I have grown much, learned about God, made friend and hiked Twin Peaks!”
  • “I have changed and I now think of camp Potosi as my family.”
  • “I learned to have self-control.”
  • I know God loves me!”

Jr. High campers:

  • “I am a stronger person!’
  • “I can be who I really am and not get made fun of.”
  • “I feel comfortable with who I am.”
  • “I found a home away from home.”

Sr. High Campers:

  • “I am physically, mentally and spiritually refocused and refreshed.”
  • “I have learned how to go to scripture for help.”
  • “I am more open to change.”
  • “I feel more alive.”
