We are beginning to coordinate debris removal teams at Zion UMC in North Las Vegas. Volunteers will be needed Monday – Saturday from now through July 21. Approximate hours will start at 7:00 a.m. and continue until the heat reaches 110 degrees, or approximately 2:00 p.m., whichever comes first. There will be frequent hydration breaks in a shaded area with misters. Worker schedules could be adjusted if needed for personal or health reasons upon communication with the daily volunteer coordinator.
If interested and available, it is necessary to register. Please use the email ZionResurrection@dscumc.org to register with your name, contact information, and available dates. Due to city requirements, volunteers must be 18 or older. There is housing available at University UMC in Las Vegas if needed. All meals will be provided (asking for a $3 donation per meal to help with costs).
