We are saddened to announce the death of Reverend J. David Barkley who died this morning, June 30, 2017. Rev. Barkley’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Sierra Vista UMC, 3225 St Andrews Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85650 at 10:00 AM. Clergy are invited to vest, wear white stoles, and process. Please keep Rev. Barkley’s wife, Millie, and their family in your prayers during this difficult time.
Rev. Bill Denlinger
Prayers are requested for retired elder, Reverend Bill Denlinger in the South District. Rev. Denlinger’s wife, Gloria, fell on Sunday night and shattered her left shoulder. She is currently in the hospital and will likely be in surgery for a reverse prosthesis to replace her shoulder on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Please keep Rev. Denlinger and his wife in your prayers during this difficult time.
