Founded in 2006, Justa Center is a day resource center for seniors aged 55 and older who are homeless in the metro Phoenix area. Of the roughly 130 people they see every day, nearly 50 percent of them are veterans, 42 percent of whom are women. The mission of Justa Center is the transformation of the lives of all individuals with whom they come into contact.

Donations and an offering were collected at Annual Conference this past June for Justa Center. They wanted to thank the Desert Southwest Annual Conference attendees for the wonderful donations they received. Below are some thank you notes from several members of Justa Center. They hope these bring a smile to your face and love in your heart for our most vulnerable homeless–seniors over 55. Thank you so very much for always supporting Justa Center.

It was such a blessing, all the donations you gave to the Justa Center. With so many negative things going on, we are blessed to have the things you donated. God bless your organization. Thank you very much! Sincerely, CG

I just wanted you to know how grateful I am for all you do and how much it means to know someone cares enough to help. You are really a Godsend. It’s uplifting and gives me hope and motivation to keep working to get out of my current situation. Thank you so much.

Yesterday was my 57th birthday. Never thought I’d be in my current predicament (i.e. living in a homeless shelter). Furthermore, depending on and needing assistance from the services provided by Justa Center. Consequently, your contributions and donations to this center are valued and profoundly appreciated. Thank God for your blessings and continued support. Sincerely, LS
