Prayer Requests September 9 – 15

Prayers are requested for Pastor Michele Kelley, pastor of First UMC, Bisbee and Grace UMC, Douglas in the South District. Pastor Kelley had two strokes at the base of her skull and is in the hospital. Please keep Pastor Kelley, her family, and the two congregations in your prayers during this difficult time. (9/11/17)

Prayers are requested for Rev. Michael Kelley, serving at Dayspring UMC, Tempe in the East District. Rev. Kelley was recently diagnosed with an aneurysm on his ascending aorta and a problem with his aortic valve. He will meet with a specialist this week. Please keep Rev. Kelley and his wife, Michelle, in your prayers during this difficult time. (9/14/17)

Prayers are requested for Rev. Sharon Pajak, pastor at Desert Chapel UMC, Apache Junction in the East District. Rev. Pajak’s mother-in-law, Wesley Hathaway, has been placed on hospice care. Please keep Rev. Pajak and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. (9/15/17)

Prayers are requested for Rev. Susan Holden, associate pastor at University UMC, Las Vegas, in the North District. Rev. Holden’s mother, Jane Hamby, had an emergency surgery and is recovering. Please keep Rev. Holden, her mother Jane, and her family in your prayers during her healing time. (9/15/17)

Prayers are requested for Rev. Fred Mast, senior pastor at Sedona UMC in the West District. Rev. Mast’s mother, Barbara Mast, died on Saturday, September 9, 2017. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Paradise Valley UMC beginning at 10 AM with a luncheon to follow. Please keep Rev. Mast and his family in your prayers during this difficult time. (9/15/17)
