The grief processing group is an opportunity to explore the many facets of our lives that can be difficult to manage. Those who are dealing with grief and loss – whether from the death of a family member, the loss of a job, or lifestyle changes related to health issues or other concerns – find this group to be a wonderful time of sharing and support. All are welcome to attend, including church members, constituents, or members of the community. The group meets twice monthly to process those challenges and provide emotional support to those going through similar situations. The grief processing group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month (October 3 and 17) at Faith UMC, 8640 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, in the library at 6:00 PM. It is facilitated and lead by Rev. Joshua Warner, a deacon in The United Methodist Church, who holds a masters of Divinity Pastoral Care and serves as minister and clinical coordinator in behavioral health.
This is an open group, all are welcome to stop by as needed.
