Hidden Treasures – Spiritual Retreat among the Wonders of Nature

by | Feb 6, 2018 | North District Web Page, North District Newsletter

April 20 -22 in Caliente, NV

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3

Why Caliente, NV?

  1. Natural wonders are in every direction.  Within an hour drive of Caliente there are 6 state parks, numerous rock art sites, spectacular canyons and forested mountains.  Above are the dark, starry skies at night and clear, blue skies by day.  Below are geothermal waters.
  2. Ideal location for reflection & spiritual growth.  Caliente and surroundings are currently used by state and private organizations as a place for healing and spiritual growth.  The lack of big city distractions allows oneself to focus on what is truly important.
  3. Just 2.5 hours drive from Las Vegas.  Follow scenic US 93 from the parched desert of Las Vegas to abundant springs of Pahranagat Valley to the extensive Joshua tree forest of Delamar Valley to Caliente in Rainbow Canyon.
