Lay Servant Ministries Training – Tucson

Lay Servant MinistriesHave you heard the call from God to develop your teaching and leadership skills in your local church? Lay Servant Ministries courses may be a way for you to prepare yourself for the many missions and ministries that you may be called to, or improve your teaching and leadership skills, address your devotional life, help you discern your own spiritual gifts, or hone your Christian based skills to lead small groups. In addition, certain Lay Servant Ministries courses can be used to provide the necessary requirements to qualify as a Certified Lay Speaker.

Courses Offered:
Basic Course – Introduction to Lay Servant Ministries
Advanced Course – Discover Your Spiritual Gifts

The classes with be held Friday and Saturday, April 20th and 21st, at First UMC Tucson. Address is 915 E. 4th St., Tucson AZ.

Click here to register. Cost is $25 per participant for the Basic Course or $30 per participant for the Advanced Course. Participants are responsible for purchasing and reading the text in advance of the course. The deadline to register for these courses is April 12, 2018, or until they fill up.
