HOW can a church act for justice?
God Calls us to be a COURAGEOUS CHURCH:
Loving like Jesus, Acting for Justice, United in Hope
Bishop Robert Hoshibata has called us to action to make this vision a reality. Do you have questions about exactly HOW a church can act for justice?
Come to the “How to Form a Social Justice Team in the Local Church” workshop at the Desert Southwest Conference Center, 1550 E. Meadowbrook Avenue in Phoenix on Saturday, April 28, from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM. Let’s explore that question together with Rev. Clayton Childers, Director of Conference Relations for our General Board of Church and Society based in Washington, D.C., leading the conversation. He’ll guide us to explore how individual congregations can act for justice by developing effective church and society teams.
