On Sunday, April 29, Christ Church United Methodist tried something new on the fifth Sunday – “Service Sunday”. Christ Church held a brief combined worship service and then repackaged diapers for the Diaper Bank of Southern AZ in the Fellowship Hall. Over 100 people attended, and we packed 13,680 diapers! The day was finished with a delicious potluck lunch. The event was such a success that all Sundays that fall on the fifth Sunday will be Service Sundays.
