The Reverend Donald E. Hegeman, pastor at St. John’s UMC, will lead a 10-day pilgrimage (March 12 to March 21, 2019) into the Holy Land of Israel and Palestine (plus an available 4 day elective to visit Jordan’s amazing Wadi Rum and Petra, returning March 25, 2019). Locations like Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Galilee, Jerusalem and many ancient sites are on the itinerary. The journey is designed to provide an overview of the geographical, social, and cultural setting of the Bible and its people. The pilgrimage is coordinated by the Society for Biblical Studies in Arlington, MA.
