Conflict is an inevitable part of life and growth. Learning to engage conflict in creative ways that open possibilities and lead to growth is a crucial part of building an authentic, collaborative, relational, trusting, bold, and compassionate church that is living courageously. In preparation for the 2019 special session of general conference and as part of living into our Conference Vision Statement the Connectional Ministries office will be offering a conflict transformation seminar for anyone interested in learning more about engaging conflict in healthy and positive ways both in the church and in life.
This seminar will include:
- A free professional assessment of your own conflict management style.
- An overview on the processes of conflict, conflict management and transformation and how to shift the momentum of destructive conflict towards healing and forgiveness.
- Practical tools and practice for engaging conflict in your own life, work, and church.
- Optional invitation to deeper practices of conflict transformation through an ongoing peer to peer coaching and mentoring process from September 15, 2018 – March 15, 2019.
- Free lunch included.
