TRINITY UMC, LAS VEGAS (Click here for flyer and registration form)

Rev. Khalif Smith has written an advanced course–LIVING THE VISION— for Lay Servant Ministries of the Desert Southwest Conference.  The course is based on the conference vision which was adopted at the 2016 Annual Conference….God calls us to be a courageous church, loving like Jesus, acting for justice, united in hope.   Rev. Khalif has written the leader’s guide/study guide to accompany the textbook, “The Speed of Trust: The One Thing that Changes Everything,” by Stephen M. R. Covey.   Rev. Khalif Smith is the instructor.  See the announcement and registration form attached.

This course will be valuable to all laity and clergy.  Certified Lay Servants, Certified Lay Speakers and Certified Lay Ministers – this course has conditional approval as an advanced course, pending review by the Conference Lay Servant Ministries committee.  Input from participants will be part of that reviews.

COME – LEARN  – LIVE THE VISION!
