Churches are among those community organizations looking for ways to respond to the opioid epidemic.  Whether it is identifying signs of abuse in loved ones, having conversations about the spiritual impact of pain management, equipping parish nurses to respond to community concerns, understanding how opioids work and how to respond in an emergency, church leaders and pastors need to know what to do.  The Desert Southwest Conference, in partnership with the multi-faith task-force for opioid response from the office of special programs and community engagement of the Arizona Attorney General’s office, invites you to participate in the our first ever Opioid response training session.

When: January 31st, 2019

Time: 10:00am-Noon

Where: First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1407 N. Second Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85004
