In Memory of Mrs. Lusila Anau Piukala

by | Mar 12, 2019 | Death Announcements

In faith, we share the news that Mrs. Lusila Anau Piukala, the wife of the Rev. Timote Piukala, died on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Mrs. Piukala was a strong woman of great faith. Her gentle nature and her commitment to a life of Christian service was evident in all said and did. She was a mother, mentor and minister of Jesus Christ whose ministry of music, faith, family, and life of witness touched and transformed the hearts of all who met her. Her spirit of radical hospitality, gentle grace, embracing love, and humorous humility lives on in her family, and among all of us who had the privilege of sharing her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, her smile and her deep abiding love for her family and her community.

Rev. Timote Moana Piukala is an elder in the Desert Southwest Conference. He became a licensed local pastor in 2011 and served at Phoenix: Trinity UMC; Phoenix: Tongan UMF; Mesa: Tongan UMC.
