About AC2020 Live Stream
The live stream of Annual Conference, a virtual event using the Zoom webinar format, on June 12-13 will be available at www.dscumc.org/ac. Please use that link to invite your church members to tune in to the public sessions. A call-in to listen option will be available and details for that will be clearly noted on the same Annual Conference webpage.
About Registration (there is more than one registration required)
Registration is open! This year, only the voting members of Annual Conference should register and pay to participate. All others will watch the live stream without registration. Visit www.dscumc.org/ac to find the green registration box for a credit card or check payment option. This registration form is for our records and to collect the $25 fee. In the confirmation letter received via email from after registering and paying for registration, registered voting members will receive instructions and links to register as a webinar participant for various webinar sessions. Those sessions include the pre-conference briefing on May 26 at 6:30 PM, and a webinar on May 28 at 10:00 AM presented by Finance & Administration on legislative items that will likely require a deeper understanding and discussion before voting on June 13 during the plenary session. Luckily, these registrations only require your name and email address. You cannot participate without completing the Zoom webinar registrations for each session. Webinar registrants will use the link provided in the Zoom confirmation email to connect to the appropriate webinar. Registrants will receive a reminder email with the link again an hour before each session. Each link is unique to the individual. You cannot share your registration link, it won’t work for them.
Webinars for voting members of the Annual Conference are listed below. Use your real name when you register and use an email account that you can access on the day of the event. If you do not have an email account, please call Lori Davalos at 602-266-6956 for assistance on creating a new email account. Click into each webinar at least 30 minutes early. Everyone will begin in a virtual waiting room. Once your identity is confirmed as a voting member of the Annual Conference, you will be approved to join the session.

People that want to watch any of the public sessions (does not include the clergy session) will be able to do so by visiting www.dscumc.org/ac. The live stream viewing will be embedded on that page when appropriate and links to the recordings will be added to that page as they are available. No registration is required for observing the sessions.
About the technology
In order to watch and listen to the live stream, observers need access to the internet and a device that is capable of going on the internet. To listen to the sessions without the use of the internet, observers will be able to call a toll-free number and listen but not be able to see the presentation materials. The registration materials for voting members of the Annual Conference include details about the technology they will need to participate in the sessions.
Because this will be a first-time experience for many of our voting members, we are offering several “practice and technology test” sessions. Church leaders should encourage their lay members who are new to this type of technology to test their equipment by visiting https://zoom.us/test and clicking on the blue “Join” button to start a test Zoom session.
