Informational Webinar: 21 Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge

by | Sep 1, 2020 | Conference Newsletter, DSC-RACE Coalition, Not In USe

On September 1, 2020, all active clergy and lay people assigned received a link to access the “21 Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge” and supporting documents with some materials authored by Dr. Eddie Moore. On October 1, 2020, those resources will be accessible at https://dscumc.org/religion-and-race/dsc-race for all members of the Desert Southwest Conference to participate in the 21-day challenge as an individual or small groups.

This month is a preview time for pastors to dive into the resources and decide whether or not to use them in their church community or join individually. Questions about the materials may arise. Below is a video that is also available in the downloadable items for church use that explains the 21-day challenge resource. If you have questions about the 21-day challenge or want to hear more about who and what DSC RACE Coalition is or how a couple of Desert Southwest Conference churches have already used the resource, click here to register to join the webinar on September 17 at 7:00 PM.

“The RACE Coalition was formed to promote racially-focused education and dialogue with an emphasis on Reflection, Action, Courageous Dialogue, and Engagement.”
