Pastor Joel Arvizu
Congratulations to the newest Local Pastors in the West District. Joel Arvizu and Ian Oliver completed licensing school over the summer and became Licensed Local Pastors of the Desert Southwest Conference on September 1, 2020. Joel has been appointed to Nuevo Pacto UMF in Phoenix since January of this year. Ian began his first appointment at Calvary UMC in Phoenix on July 1.
District Superintendent Nancy Cushman presented each of the pastors with their license during a recent worship service at their church.
