My name is Richard Lee Weber. I mostly go by Lee. I’ve been pastoring since 1965 in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. Now I’ve added Arizona to the list by being here at St. Michael’s UMC in Lake Havasu. This came after being retired for 12 years. I’m a member of the Western Pennsylvania Conference, but retired to Las Vegas a couple years ago.

I’ve served mostly United Methodist churches but also some ecumenical ones, mostly United Church of Christ churches in Massachusetts and Vermont. Largest church I served was over 3000 and the smallest was 3 in membership.

While being a pastor was not my desired career, it was 43 years of the greatest adventure of my life. And while I do not know all the results of those years, I have received enough feedback to know all pastors help change lives in positive ways. It is always a right thing to be doing.

I grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a steel mill city. Now we call them still mills, since they’re mostly gone. I am in my second marriage; after my first wife died. Have two daughters, a step-daughter, a bunch of “adopted” kids all over the country and the world. And I’m 78.
