When the pandemic crisis hit, many of us were stunned into silence with the loss of social freedom, the threat of infection, as well as concerns about friends and neighbors. The killing of George Floyd and the protests that followed heightened our need to “find our voice” as we listen more deeply to God’s call on our lives. In response, the Desert Southwest Conference of The United Methodist Church and The Upper Room are offering an online guided retreat for lay and clergy to move us from silence to prayer and to witness.

Finding Your Voice: A Contemplative Writing Retreat

Finding Your Voice is an online experience presented by the Arizona Academy for Spiritual Formation Council and The Upper Room. This is an invitation for people to express themselves after months of dealing with a series of social and health challenges.
