The Rev. N. Susan Brims, Missional Strategist and Superintendent of the East District, announced that Bishop Robert T. Hoshibata intends to appoint Ms. Sylvia Harris as interim student local pastor of Wesley United Methodist, in Phoenix, AZ less than full-time, serving December 1, 2020 until June 30, 2021 per ¶ 318.2, ¶318.3 & ¶ 338.3b of the 2016 United Methodist Book of Discipline.
The Rev. Dr. Sergio Pereira, pastor of Wesley UMC, will be taking personal leave.
