Hello Sisters in Christ,
In the March/April 2021 response magazine issue, Cynthia Rives, vice president United Methodist Women board of directors wrote,
Recently my husband tried out a new dictation program while creating a Sunday school presentation. At one point he stopped and chuckled. I asked him what was so funny? He said, “It keeps auto-correcting ‘Amen’ to ‘I’m in’. I guess that’s a pretty good translation, actually!” I agreed wholeheartedly.
Cynthia continues to tell us that her prayer is that we United Methodist Women members are all in with Mission Giving, all in to living out our Purpose, faithful to our past and visionary to our future.
This is the season of Lent, and the season of Call to Prayer and Self-denial. How are you preparing your journey to Easter? Have you been able to deny yourself one thing? Pray about giving the “savings” to your local United Methodist Women’s group under the Call to Prayer and Self-denial program.
God talks to us in a myriad of ways. In this season of Lent, has God been talking to you about the mission work of United Methodist Women? Is God calling you to be all in?
