On March 17th members associated with Wespath Benefits were notified that Wespath has endorsed the call for “Fair and Equitable” response to COVID-19. Your Conference Health & Caring Ministries Team, along with its subgroup, Clergy Wellness Task Force, wishes to support Wespath’s endorsement of the Access to Medicine Foundation’s call for an effective, faith and equitable global response to COVID-19. “Today, almost 150 institutional investors have issued a joint call for a fair and equitable global response to the pandemic, including through fully financing the ACT Accelerator partnership dedicated to developing, producing and ensuring equitable access to COVID-19 tools. The signatories, which together manage or advise on assets worth more than US$ 14 trillion, have also committed to engage with healthcare companies to promote bolder industry actions and therefore contribute to ending the pandemic.” 23 February 2021
