The General Board of Global Ministries has assembled Earth Day worship resources that might be of interest. Earth Day, April 22, 2021, will mark the 51st anniversary of this holiday. The resources have been curated by the Rev. Jenny Phillips, Senior Technical Advisor for Environmental Sustainability at Global Ministries. The resources include
  • a videotaped sermon by Rev. Phillips entitled “Somewhere Better Than Here”, with and without subtitles
  • a videotaped reading of Luke 24:36b-48, read by Roland Fernandes, General Secretary of Global Ministries and UMCOR, with and without subtitles
  • a videotaped litany read by 4 of our United Methodist missionaries, with and without subtitles

PDF text documents of these materials are also available.

All of these resources can be found at Worship resources for Earth Day 2021 – Global Ministries (umcmission.org)
