Orientation to Ministry will be held on Friday, June 11th at 6 p.m. Orientation to Ministry, a requirement for certified candidacy as set forth in ¶ 312 of the Book of Discipline, will be offered virtually again this year. It will include information on the process of candidacy, ordination, grant and scholarship opportunities, and more. Participants will hear from the chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry, the BOOM registrar and the chairs of the ministry orders. There will be an opportunity to walk through the two candidacy platforms: UMCARES and EM360. We will also have a time for questions and breakout rooms grouped by district.
