Pastor Daisy Ho – Community Church of Buckeye, Buckeye, AZ

by | Jul 20, 2021 | West District Web Page, West District Newsletter

Pastor Daisy Ho was born and raised in Hong Kong, a British colony until 1997. She worked as a commercial graphic designer for several years; then, God called her to be a music minister. So here she came to California to get a music degree, major in voice performance. A year after her graduation, God called again but to be a pastor. Daisy said, “no!” God said, “yes!” Guess who won?

Daisy served God and pastored his people at churches in Los Angles County, Hong Kong (British Methodist Church), then Guam, Orange County, then a church plant in Laveen, Arizona, and now Buckeye.

In her spiritual walk, three major lessons stand out: to overcome fear is to embrace fear; humankind is created to be strong/tough, and she experienced miracles.

Daisy loves her Pitbull, Autumn, and a mud Winter. Fun activities she does include gardening, cooking/eating, building/fixing things, swimming (She was a certified lifeguard in both Hong Kong and Phoenix), biking, hiking, climbing trees, traveling, creating/dreaming, singing/playing music, and talking to herself.
