Matt Kuss accepts Assistant Treasurer position
The Desert Southwest Conference would like to introduce the newest staff member of the DSC Finance team. Matt Kuss, former Branch Manager of the Interfaith Credit Union (formerly known as the United Methodist Credit Union), was selected as the new Assistant Treasurer effective September 16, 2021.
Matt has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in small business administration. He has broad experience running a family business and the banking background needed for the Assistant Treasurer’s daily work. Matt lives with his wife, Angie; son, Oliver; and daughter, Finley.

Dina Reid transitions to Benefits & Facilities Manager
As previously announced, Dina Reid, after six years of service as the Camp & Retreat Ministries Office Administrator transitions to Benefits and Facilities Manager. Dina is excited to transition into this new role and looks forward to serving the clergy and laity of the Desert Southwest Conference in this capacity.
Dina grew up in Southern California and has made Arizona, primarily Gilbert, her home for most of her adult life. Dina is married to Curt and together they have one daughter, Ashley, and two grandsons, Jackson and Leo.

Patricia Pegram accepts Camp & Retreat Ministries, Office Administrator position
Welcome our new Camp & Retreat Ministries Office Administrator, Patricia Pegram! Patricia began working in her new role as of August 25, 2021
Born and raised in Virginia, Patricia became part of the camp community as an Adventure Counselor at a UMC camp on the James River, leading her to complete her undergrad in Outdoor Ministries & Adventure Leadership from Eastern Mennonite University. Having never ventured far from the East Coast, she moved to Southern California shortly after graduating and worked in partnership with UMC camps; Patricia ran Outdoor Education and Summer Day Camp programs for an education-based non-profit. Patricia has a passion for her plants, being immersed in nature, mental health, and will complete her Master’s in Organizational Leadership & Learning from Pepperdine University in April 2022.
