WJ Course of Study 2022 Winter & Spring Enrollment Open

The 2022 Western Jurisdiction Course of Study (COS) classes for winter and spring are now available for registration. The cost for each four-week course is $400, plus a $10 registration fee and held via Zoom. All fees must be paid prior to the start of the class. Pre-class requirements will be posted after the first of the year.

SESSION 1 (January 17 – February 10)

Registration Deadline: December 15, 2021

  • 222 Theology II: Early Church
  • 521 Bible V: Acts & Epistles

SESSION 2 (March 7 – March 31)

Registration Deadline: February 7, 2022

  • 221 Bible II: Torah
  • 323 Congregational Care
  • 422 Theology IV: Wesleyan Movement
  • 523 Evangelism

The Western Jurisdiction COS is the basic theological education program of the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) that offers training and education for people who are interested in becoming full or part-time local pastors in The United Methodist Church.

The courses are taught by faculty from Claremont School of Theology who are leaders in their field from across the Western Jurisdiction.
