No, really, do you feel good during the holiday seasons? When we think about holiday seasons, a “to do list” seems to magically appear out of nowhere. Here’s the levels of anxiousness:

  1. OMG- Oh My God! What am I going to do
  2. I got this! Strategically map out cost, delivery, or pick-up by priority.
  3. No worries, it will show up at the front door
  4. Ignore list and do nothing, seem to mysteriously be missing and/or misplace the list
  5. Voluntold someone to fill the list for you

Where do you fall in the category of anxiousness? Are you panic stricken (1) running around aimlessly looking for an answer? Do you take control (2) of the list and begin to check-off the items off the list? Once the list is done, you will feel a sense of accomplishment, pride, and rewarding. Do you hope (3) the list will be fulfilled by itself? Don’t we all wish this was true. Will you ignore the list (4), mysteriously misplace the list or “accidentally” throw the list into the waste basket? This is the maybe I might look at the list someday if I can ever find the list. Do you elect someone to complete the checklist (5)? Basically, not taking responsibility of completing the task assigned to you.

God knows your level of anxiousness. Ask God for peace, calmness, knowing God is by your side anytime ready to pick you up and/or carry you. Don’t let the holidays make you anxious and/or stressful but feel good knowing the excitement of a new birth, new hope has come into the world to provide eternal gift of life through the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Feel good knowing the gift from God is open to everyone. Go out and shine the glowing look of feeling good and excited sharing God’s love and salvation to everyone you see or feeling from the Holy Spirit. We are witnesses for Jesus Christ. May God bless you and your family.

Romans 5:1 NIV – Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:6 NIV – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
