By Christina Dillabough, Director of Communications

The DSC Commission on Communication is hard at work assessing current communication practices and brainstorming new policies, best practices, and training ideas. Part of the discussion on how to improve communications includes the dscumc.org website. Thanks to the recent Communication Survey completed by over 600 people these past few months, their work will be heavily informed by the feedback from people in numerous areas of the local church, District, and Conference areas.

A special thank you to all that participated by circulating the survey within their church community. Your efforts were integral in making the survey such a huge success!

All churches with survey results will get a copy of their responses very soon via email.

The dscumc.org website remodel will be happening behind the scenes and launching in July 2022. In the meantime, you may see missing images or broken links. I’m sorry if it causes any inconveniences or stress. Please contact me via email at cdillbaough@dscumc.org if you can’t find something and include the webpage link where the item should be accessible. We don’t anticipate too much disruption, but things happen. Thank you in advance for your grace and patience during this time of transition.

Stay tuned to find out more about the Conference-wide survey results and how it will impact other areas of communication.
