There are a wide variety of agencies grant funds for disability ministries, for uses such as modifying spaces, buying equipment, and starting programs. There are also programs that offer scholarships. Grants we know of are listed in Funding Resources Available to Local Churches for Accessibility Projects, available in Word or PDF.
The Disability Ministries Committee helps fund accessibility and inclusion projects for United Methodist churches. This is an annual cycle, open from January to March each year. Frequent questions, instructions, and an application are included in the form. In 2022, a second cycle will be open from August 1 to September 30, and the information and grant form are now available.
