We are excited to share some upcoming changes that might interest you. The New and Vital Faith Committee members will attend a September retreat where we will pray, vision, and set goals for the coming years. Some of the immediate updates you might see are the new application forms for those seeking funding from either the New Faith or Vital Faith Committees. The forms will also have a matrix you can access to see how we will evaluate funding resources moving forward. Another addition to our fall schedule is to host monthly lunch meetings via Zoom on the second Wednesday of every month at noon for those seeking to answer the following three questions related to new or revitalized churches:
- What’s going well?
- What hurdles am I facing?
- What resources do I need?

If you want to attend the National Gathering of United Methodist Church Planters hosted by the Western Jurisdiction, mark your calendars for April 25-26 in Denver, Colorado! As many of you know, Rachel is new to her role as Director of New and Vital Faith. She will be visiting churches in all districts throughout July and August.
