Many churches realize that affordable housing is an issue but don’t know how to utilize their existing resources of buildings and land to be a part of the solution to extend their ministry and community engagement while creating external revenue streams. Register for the Affordable Housing Symposium if your church has begun the conversation to explore this ministry but doesn’t know the steps involved to get started. Register for the Affordable Housing Symposium if your church is considering housing for a specific demographic, like senior citizens or young people aging out of the foster care system but is worried about the expense and administrative oversight involved. Even if your church has not considered starting an affordable housing ministry, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity courtesy of FACE (Faith and Community Empowerment).

The Desert Southwest Conference and California Pacific Conference are partnering with FACE/C2 to offer an affordable housing symposium on October 29, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM via Zoom. The cost for the 3-hour symposium is $299, but Desert Southwest Conference churches will be able to participate for free if they’ve registered by September 30.
