The clergy and lay leadership development team host monthly Leadership Talks via Zoom, exploring what it means to be a leader and providing opportunities for leaders to learn from other leaders in the Desert Southwest Conference. What are you doing to grow as a leader?

This month’s Leadership Talk titled, The foundation of leadership begins with offering protection, features Rev. Anthony Tang referencing Brené Brown’s book, Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts. Presentations are recorded and posted on the Conference website. Still, we encourage you to register to attend the Zoom session live to engage with the featured presenter and others attending the event. The Leadership Talks are free and take place in the evening at 7:00 PM for approximately 1-1.5 hours.

About the Presenter

The Reverend Anthony Tang is a child of God, a husband, a dad, a pastor, a strategist, and an “organic organizational gardener.” He worked in various church settings as an ordained elder and previously served as the Director of Connectional Ministry for the Desert Southwest Conference.
