The Rev. Javier Olivares, Missional Strategist and Superintendent of the West District, announced that Bishop Grant J. Hagiya has affirmed that Bishop Michael McKee of the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church, intends to appoint Rev. Katherine Ziegler Tang as Director of Pastoral Care at Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX, effective October 10, 2022, per paragraphs ¶346.1, ¶343.2, and ¶344.3 of the 2016 United Methodist Book of Discipline. Rev. Tang was previously appointed as the Associate Director of Spiritual Care, Clinical Pastoral Education and Volunteer Services for Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
