Where have you found a calm place to read daily devotions?  Or, spend quiet time with God? Is it a ‘place’ that you can spend more than 30 seconds quietly? However, having suggested that we ‘need’ quiet spaces and times, that may not be what everyone needs. Think of times when you have been in a crowd, surprisingly enough, it is possible to send up a quick prayer without having to position yourself in a specific posture.  This can even be described as a ‘dart’ prayer!

The most favorite and most serene ‘place’ that I have spent time in prayer was at the location in the photo above.  This is Psalm Lake at the Birchwood Camp in Chugiak, Alaska.  The walk around the lake was so beautiful, and the words in my prayers ‘flowed’ effortlessly.  Peacefulness surrounded me, not just physically but spiritually, deep in my heart and soul.  God was SO close… Jesus was SO close…

the Holy Spirit was SO close…

Still not sure about how to pray?  Still not comfortable with approaching our Lord? There are many, many resources that can guide you…but, the most effective way is listen to and share from your heart…

We are reminded in Matthew 6:8 “…for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”

God Bless You always and all ways,
