In Memory of Mrs. Kathleen Randle

In sadness, we share the news that Mrs. Kathleen (Kathy) Randle, spouse of Rev. George Randle,  a retired elder in the Desert Southwest Conference, died on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

Mrs. Kathleen Randle was born in Birmingham, AL. She was a bookreader, quilter and a loving person. She worked as a school teacher. She also was a great gardener and  loved to cook. She would make a quilt for people she loved. She would decorate the sanctuary with quilts made by her. She is survived by her husband George, brother, son, daughter and several grandchildren and a great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her daughter. 

Rev. George Randle was admitted on trial in the North Alabama Conference of the Methodist Church (MC) in 1958. He served at Vincent MC and then transferred to the Southern California-Arizona Conference of the MC. He served at the Hayden Larger Parish and was admitted in full connection in 1961. He served at Chandler Community as the conference became the Southern California-Arizona Conference and then the Pacific and Southwest Conference of The United Methodist Church.  Rev. Randle served at Prescott UMC in Prescott, AZ (1978) and St. Mark’s UMC in Tucson, AZ (1983). He retired in 1984.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 1:00 PM at:
Prescott United Methodist Church

Since Kathleen loved books and was a great book reader, memorial gifts can be send to a public library of your choice.
