The Leadership Talk on Monday, November 14th at 7:00 PM, is entitled “Care of Self, Care of Soul.” Our presenter will be Rev. Lynn Bartlow, lead pastor of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Tucson.
Pastor Lynn is a graduate of Florida Southern College and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. The majority of her recent education has been through podcasts, books, and parenting. Her current hobby is driving her Mach-E fully electric Ford Mustang, which she has named EVaLynn.
Rev. Bartlow will lead us in the ever–needed reminder that we can’t care for others if we don’t first care for ourselves. We will talk about self-care and spiritual practices for leaders, but then we will spend time on some of those practices. She will offer resources, such as podcasts and books, and will gratefully receive your favorite resources as well. before the busy holiday season begins, join us as we care for her own soul.
