Bishop Carlo Rapanut on a prayer run

As we near the end of the year, many are considering their new year resolutions or are busy with end-of-year preparations. Just like the rest of us, Bishop Carlo Rapanut is preparing for his episcopal assignment in the Desert Southwest Conference as of January 1, 2023. Today, November 30, 2022, Bishop Rapanut announced on Facebook that he would embark on a prayer run. Read his post below.

Tomorrow, it will be exactly a month before I step into my role as Bishop of the Desert Southwest Conference. I am embarking on yet another #prayerrun to spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically prepare for the responsibilities of leadership in the Phoenix Episcopal Area and to count down our transition from the land of the midnight sun to the valley of the sun. For the whole month of December, I will be prayerfully running a mile for each of the faith communities and ministry settings in the DSC. Each day, I will be posting the number of miles I covered and the corresponding ministries I ran them for. Join me on this prayer journey. #aumc2dsc #ak2az #anc2phx #reflectionsofarunningreverend
