About the class
Leading Worship focuses on the ministry of the lay servant who either regularly or occasionally leads a group or congregation in worship. This class is facilitated by Shirley Maddox and meets in person on Saturdays (February 11, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and February 18, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at St Paul’s UMC at 8051 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85710. Attendance is required on both Saturdays to receive credit.
The cost of the class is $15, and the class size is limited to 15 people so register today to secure one of the 15 spots in this class. The deadline for registration is Friday, February 3, 2023.
What to bring
Masks are optional. No food will be served, but bottled water and coffee will be provided. Bring your lunch, snacks, and your class book: “Worshiping with United Methodists (Revised)” by Hoyt Hickman. The class book is available for purchase from the following:
