December 2022 Apportionments Report

by | Jan 12, 2023 | Apportionments, Conference Newsletter, Finance and Administration

Apportionments

We finished the 2022 apportionment year, with December apportionment receipts being the second-best month of the year behind January, where the Conference fully paid one month of 2022 apportionments for all of our churches.  The result was an overall apportionment receipts level of 81.7% for the year.  That was 2.1% below last year’s level and 3.3% below our 10-year historical average.

2022 apportionment receipts are detailed by district as follows:

We appreciate the sacrifices made by all of our churches and congratulate the 61% of them that were able to contribute 100% or more of their apportionments in 2022.

Overall, the Conference continues to be in fairly strong financial shape.  Our available cash reserves are expected to remain in excess of $3 million. Which should allow us to continue all our ministries for many years to come.

Remember that apportionments are a way to look beyond just ourselves. Please do all that you can to help our churches and our ministries continue to change lives by contributing apportionments as fully as possible in the coming 2023 year. Thanks again for your commitment; it truly provides the financial stability for our connectional programs to work.
