Wondering how to effect real change?

Playful Leadership

Register today for the February 13 Leadership Talk titled “Playful Leaders” by Rev. Dr. Kristin D. Hansen via Zoom at 7:00 PM MST.

This Leadership Talk is based on the book “Friedman’s Fables” by Edwin Friedman.

Edwin Howard Friedman was an ordained rabbi, family therapist, and leadership consultant, perhaps most famously known in Christian circles for work with the Family Systems Theory for personal and congregational life.

The tales in his book playfully demonstrate that new ideas, new questions, and imagination, more than accepted wisdom, provide each of us with the keys to overcoming stubborn emotional barriers and facilitating real change both in ourselves and others.

Rev. Dr. Kristin D. Hansen has served God in the church for 24 years locally, nationally, and internationally with all ages in churches, choirs, conventions, curriculum, publishing, radio, and internet ministry. But finds the most fulfilling and challenging ministry has always been between two people. She served and was ordained in the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) before serving and transferring to The United Methodist Church in the Desert Southwest. She is currently serving as the pastor appointed to Desert Foothills United Methodist Church in the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix, Arizona.
