We are excited to announce our next dinner for Phoenix area people with HIV/AIDS.
In preparation for the annual AGRA Rodeo and our Rodeo-themed SFTJ AZ retreat, the dinner will be held on January 23rd. at 5:30 PM SHARP at Feeney’s Restaurant, located at 6314 N 12th. St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. The dinner is free, but registration is required. Please use the registration form linked below.
Feeney’s Restaurant is just South of E. Maryland Ave Center. If you registered to attend, ask to be seated with SFTJ. The restaurant has a small parking lot, so please carpool. This dinner is similar to the POZ Cafe dinners in Tucson and will be a way to see old friends and meet new ones. All dinners come with water, tea, or a soft drink, and a cookie for dessert. You will have a choice of:
- Sirloin Burger – (house ground from 100% certified Angus beef top sirloin), choice of American, swiss, cheddar, or pepper jack cheese with french fries
- The UnBeef (Chicken) Sandwich – lightly marinated chicken breast with swiss cheese served with french fries
- Feeney’s Salad Bar – Build your own salad and add soup (optional)
This will be a substance-free social opportunity to meet fellow campers and staff and learn about the upcoming retreat. Due to program cuts at Southwest Center and other agencies, we cannot promote the retreat as usual, so we ask that you please bring friends who might be interested in attending this year’s Retreat.
Due to the cost of this special dinner, we ask you to register and pay $5 if you plan to join us so we know how many to expect. There is, however, no charge for this event. The $5 will be a donation to the SFTJ Scholarship Fund, or if you wish, it will be applied to your 2023 camp fee, or we will refund it if you request. No-shows forfeit the $5. Please keep us posted, as we have to pay per person.
