AGRA Volunteers Needed

Friday, February 17 to Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Corona Ranch, 7611 S 29th Ave, Laveen, AZ 85339.

The Arizona Gay Rodeo is the largest fundraiser for our Strength for the Journey Retreat’s Scholarship Fund. This volunteer opportunity is open to all adults 18 and over. The rodeo will be held on February 17-19, 2023, with volunteers needed on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. The rodeo is held at Corona Ranch, 7611 S. 29th Ave – Laveen (Phoenix). We need several volunteers each day to staff vendor, concessions, entrances, and exits. We need your time and energy for this weekend to be successful.

Each camper who volunteers will receive $25 per shift toward their registration fee for the 2023 camp. You may volunteer multiple shifts as well as multiple days. You will receive $25 per shift toward your registration fee for the 2023 camp for each shift that friends and family volunteer, provided they list you as the beneficiary. Admission to the rodeo is included. Every year campers ask about ways to help pay for camp through fundraisers. Here’s a great one! Please note Corona Ranch charges a small parking fee. Carpooling is encouraged.
