The Rev. Javier Olivares, Missional Strategist and Superintendent of the West District, announced that Bishop Carlo A. Rapanut intends to appoint Rev. Tweedy Sombrero Navarrete as the Coordinator of the Native American Parish Fort Yuma/Phoenix Native American Fellowship, effective July 1, 2023.
Rev. Floy Scott will continue as pastor emeritus of Phoenix Native American Fellowship.
Pastor Manuel Jimenez’s appointment with Ft. Yuma UMC will be completed on June 30, 2023. No further DSC appointment is discerned at this time for Pastor Jimenez.

The Rev. Dan Morley, Missional Strategist and Superintendent of the North District, announced that Bishop Carlo A. Rapanut intends to appoint Mr. Tu’ulau Lolohea as Lay Person Assigned at Page Community UMC, less than full-time, effective July 1, 2023 per ¶205.4 of the 2016 United Methodist Book of Discipline. Mr. Lolohea currently serves in lay ministry at First United Methodist Church in Honolulu, HI, and the Hawaii District.
Pastor Ash Dotson concludes his appointment to Page Community UMC on June 30, 2023. Bishop Rapanut and Cabinet are completing the discernment of Pastor Ash’s next appointment.
